Madonna delle Timpe - Rosary-walk

Throughout the week I was in Aprigliano, I went down to the chapel of La Madonna delle Timpe on several occasions.
The morning rosary-walk was the most interesting visit.

The group met in front of Maria Lucente's every morning at 6:00.

Three men were part of the group, all the rest were women.

The walk from the outskirts of Corte to the chapel was about a half-hour.

This was long enough to recite the whole rosary. I think we may have finished the last few Ave Marias in front of the chapel.

The group went inside the chapel and the stand-in minister led the service.

Besides the rosary, my favorite part was the hymn - O Dolce Amore Maria - in the recording below.

When we finished praying, we filed out and there was someone passing out plastic cups for espresso. It was the best.
