shadows - two

This is my second iteration with this format and I have to say it's great fun to shoot shadows and reflections. It's the only image format I'm willing to put myself in. You can even say it fits me - tell a story, but keep the details out.

These are some of my most personal images that show discoveries, include friends and wake memories. The locations range from the ancient ruins of southern Italy, the mountains of Calabria and all the way to the beaches of Maine.

(Left to right, top row.) - In Reggio, I graffitied shadows onto the floor of a Roman bath; in the cemeteries of southern Maine, I discovered how to make shadows leap; on the Atlantic sands, I painted images of old friends new-found; in Aprigliano, I shot the reflection of an old man with a camera looking into a tomb; on the dirt road to Portosalvo, I found the memories of an eight year-old boy following a procession; and on the chapel-wall of La Madonna delle Timple, I made a shadow and then grabbed the moon in the morning sky.

In these eight thumbnails the shadow/reflection is a story and I'll hint at it in the tag lines I'll add to the large images.
